Yes! The Ruskies can be great again. Whilst they lost the competition to have more nukes than Ronald Reagan, and have subsequently been asset-stripped by their own people and Western capitalists, it remains a country capable of technical innovation.
If Russia can apply its undoubted educational prowess to exportable consumer goods then this should be an excellent economic diversification strategy.
