Clearly a very broad interpretation of ‘Islamic’ is being used here. I suppose in reality this is an organisation of shared interests, which is a little bit more real.
Ironically, Brazil actually has long-standing and very cordial ties with the Middle East, so this news is not as bizarre as it might seem.
