  1. India has a lot of inequality, which seems to be getting worse. But it also has a lot of rebellion brewing, and I predict that in 2014 we’ll a lot of change happening there. There are too many internal tensions and given its generally free press calls for change will become increasingly vocal. Indians are too educated and too free for the status quo to survive.

    • It’s a mixed picture. There are some truly horrible facets to life in much of modern India – stuff which gets almost no media coverage either domestically or overseas – but conversely, India is a country where some of the most impactful innovations are being dreamt up and implemented.
